I was never happy with the original version of this painting. She looks more feminine now without losing her toughness. I changed her jawline and lips. I also brightened her skin and hair a little too. And I remembered to include one of her many scars.

I frequently assume that everyone out there in the real world also lives in my head universe and then I forget to talk about my characters and their history. XD

So this is a quick description of Fhera's life.

Fhera is human but cursed with immortality. Her entire culture was destroyed in a long ago war. She is the last of her tribe. She cannot be killed or kill herself. Unfortunately, her wounds do not heal nicely. She lives in constant pain from injuries that would have killed any normal person. She is also mentally unstable due to having lived through multiple lifetimes. Her best and only humanoid friend, Rihinn Ehvander, is the only person who can keep her lucid for long periods of time.

Before the war that killed her people, she was known as Anekka, wife to Sir Daegan Frayne (a.k.a. The Dark).
