Well, I wanted to try out Deviant Art's Muro program AND for some stupid reason I not only decided to paint a portrait but I decided to paint a portrait of someone who's face I find incredibly challenging...sigh! This took me ALL evening and I didn't finish it until 1am. Full size version is here. But on the bright side, it's DEAN! :3 I used photo reference for this but I had to change his eye direction because I could not get his eyes to look right in their original position if my life depended on it. :P Oh wells, it kinda changed his expression a little which then inspired the caption. :) Also, I did not plan ahead for the composition...so yeah... Anyhoo, I enjoyed using Muro. I've never used anything other than Photoshop before but I think it's a pretty decent alternative. :) I hope you guys like my silly portrait attempt. :D And maybe I will give SAM a go next time a use Muro.
