*I've cleaned up my gallery a little and I combined a lot of my fantasy concept /sketches into larger more convenient files.*

This is one of 3 main characters from my fantasy headverse. His name is Daegan Frayne. He spends most of his youth as a drifter, surviving by doing odd jobs wherever he roams. He also has a passion for sorcery and learns what he can from whoever will teach him. Eventually he wanders into a country (that I have yet to name) and becomes a citizen and enlists in their military. He trains for several years and achieves knighthood. Shortly after being knighted he meets Anekka, a woman from a nearby village. They fall in love and get married. After several years of marriage, the country the Frayne's call home suffers a terrible war. Everyone is called to arms to defend their land, including Anekka, who is a highly skilled fighter. She is fatally wounded in battle. Daegan out of desperation attempts a spell he has never used before to save his beloved wife, but the spell fails and Anekka dies in his arms. With his wife dead and his country in ruins, Daegan buries himself in his sorcery studies. He becomes obsessed with a place known as Shadowrealm (a land of supposed immense magical power) and spends day and night trying to find a way to cross into that realm. One day he disappears, but no one knows for sure whether or not he was successful in his mission…
