At one point in my story, Rihinn acquires the ability to morph into his shadowform known as Were-Runner, which he learned from the Night-Desert Runners while on a visit to the Shadowrealm. The fun part is that he gets stuck that way for quite sometime after he first tries out the spell and for reasons unknown is also blocked from summoning the Shadowgate in order to get help from the Runners. So, he is trapped as a big creepy beastie roaming the Lightrealm when he stumbles upon Fhera, who is immediately intrigued because she has never seen such a creature in all her years of wandering the forests.

Perhaps Rihinn is telling his tale of how he is really an elf. I'm not too sure she believes him though. ^_^ No matter, she can't help but like this very odd beast.
